Brigadier (Retd) Shoaib Ahmed has 37 years of experience in pediatrics and neonatology, dedicated to advancing children’s health. His career includes 33 years in military hospitals in Pakistan, including top medical institutions, and advising the armed forces. With international qualifications and expertise in pediatric pulmonology and over two years of PICO experience, Brigadier Ahmed’s contributions are evident in numerous publications on Celiac disease and a book on parental guidance, standard growth parameters, and Down syndrome.

As an Associate Professor, he is passionate about medical education, conducting workshops on neonatal resuscitation, oxygen therapy, and Acute Kidney Injury (AKI). His courses cover Safe Management of Newborns, Basic Life Support, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support.

Brigadier Ahmed is known for leadership and teamwork, having led departments in leading hospitals and Pakistan’s largest military hospital (PEMH). Fluent in English and Urdu, he excels in communication and collaboration. His special interest lies in the well-being of special children, including those with cerebral palsy, autism, and delayed milestones, with a commitment to improving their health outcomes and quality of life.
