Dr. Hira Javed

Dr. Hira Javed is a distinguished Consultant Pediatrician with a stellar academic background and a wealth of experience in pediatric care. Her extensive training and dedication to the field are exemplified through her professional registrations with the Pakistan Medical Commission, College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan, and her possession of a CPSP Fellowship Number.

With an MBBS from Dow Medical College, Karachi, and an FCPS in Pediatrics from the prestigious Combined Military Hospital (CMH) in Rawalpindi and Quetta, Dr. Hira Javed brings a formidable depth of knowledge and clinical expertise to her practice.

Currently, Dr. Hira Javed is a dedicated Consultant in Pediatric Emergency at PIMS (Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences) in collaboration with the Child Life Foundation, a position she has held since July 2023.

Previously, Dr. Hira Javed spent four years as a Resident in Pediatrics at the Combined Military Hospital, where she honed her skills across a diverse range of pediatric departments, including Pediatrics Wards, NICU, PICU, Paeds Emergency, Paeds Surgery, Paeds Cardiology, Paeds Gastroenterology, Paeds Oncology, and Hematology.

Dr. Hira Javed’s commitment to advancing pediatric care is further evidenced by her research contributions. Her publications, including studies on the impact of maternal hemoglobin levels on newborn anthropometric measurements and the patterns of disease admissions in neonates within a tertiary care hospital in Quetta, demonstrate her dedication to improving outcomes for young patients.
